DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 62,000 families in 74 settlements of the Donetsk region in a week
Last week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 74 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 62,277 families in Volnovakha, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.
This includes yesterday, when energy workers managed to conduct repairs of the grids in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts and restore electricity to 9,600 families. The majority of repairs were in Toretsk community, where electricity was restored to 5,600 families. Electricity was also restored to more than 2,000 families in Avdiivka community and 900 families each in Marinka and Pokrovsk communities. Specialists of the energy company also managed to work in Kostiantynivka community.
According to the head of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko, the most difficult directions remain Avdiivka and Bakhmut. Buffer zone also suffers from constant shelling. Therefore, Toretsk and Marinka directions remain difficult as well.
94 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
