DTEK has restored power to 7,400 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a day

Despite very difficult situation in the region, where hostilities are underway, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 18 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts, thus restoring electricity to 7,483 households.

The majority of restorations – over 5,000 households – were in Selydove community. Energy workers were able to promptly energize equipment, de-energized due to shelling, in less than a day.

The situation in the region remains stably difficult. Hostilities constantly destroy electrical infrastructure of the region, especially in the north. We ask residents of the Donetsk region to treat power supply issues with understanding.

323 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the areas of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
