DTEK energy workers eliminated consequences of shelling and bad weather in the Dnipropetrovsk region: electricity restored to more than 9,000 families

Over the course of May 29, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 2,700 homes that were de-energized the day before due to shelling. Electricity has been restored to 3 settlements bordering the area of hostilities. Energy workers have also restored operation of grids after the night storm, thus restoring power to homes of 6,400 families in Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region.

Shelling of communities in the southern districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region that are close to the area of hostilities continues. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from the AFU and SES.  

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 2,735 families in 3 settlements shelled the day before. Power supply is now fully restored. 

Besides, DTEK Dnipro Grids continues to eliminate consequences of bad weather that covered almost the entire territory of the region. Thunderstorms with squally wind caused de-energization of more than 70 transformer substations and partial outages in Dnipro, Pavlohrad and other settlements. DTEK Dnipro Grids engaged 8 emergency and repair crews in elimination of consequences of bad weather, who made maximum efforts to restore power to the residents as soon as possible. 

Last night, energy workers managed to restore power to all 4 completely or partially de-energized settlements. Specialists have promptly restored operation of damaged lines and de-energized transformer substations, restoring electricity to 6,400 homes of residents of the region.  

Bad weather is underway in the Dnipropetrovsk region. About 600 homes remain de-energized. Energy workers are working on restoration and, in the event of any new outages, are ready to promptly restore electricity to the customers.
