DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to almost 9,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past two days (December 5 and 6), DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 12 settlements, shelled from the occupied territories the day before, thus restoring electricity to homes of 8,886 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite shelling and difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

South of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU.

Over the past two days, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 8,886 families in 12 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to shelling the day before. Power supply is now fully restored.

The situation in the energy system remains difficult. We ask all customers to support energy workers in their fight on the energy front. To do that, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption during peak load hours from 07.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 22.00 in the evening.
