DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to almost 3,000 homes in the Nikopol district after yesterday shelling
On August 17, the enemy has twice attacked Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, where enemy shelling damaged power lines and electrical equipment. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly conducted restoration activities once they obtained a permit for repairs from the military.
Over the course of a day, energy workers managed to restore power to 5 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 2,917 residents that were de-energized due to hostilities.
Despite frequent shelling, DTEK energy workers promptly repair lines and equipment damaged by the enemy. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, they have already restored power to more than 88,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The majority of restorations were in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts that come under enemy attacks most often. Some settlements required repair of lines and equipment dozens of times since February 24.
