DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 5,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region after shelling
Day after day Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that frequently damages grids and power facilities, leaving residents of the region without electricity. Despite a constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy. The work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU.
Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 5,364 families in 5 settlements of Nikopol and Synelnykove districts that were de-energized due to shelling the day before.
For instance, russian shelling last night has damaged one of substations in Nikopol community. Our specialists managed to establish a backup power supply circuit for the majority of consumers by morning and completely restore power supply in the affected district by the end of the day. Energy workers have restored electricity to more than 4,800 houses and resumed power supply to pump stations that supplied residents with water.
Power supply is now fully restored.
