DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 1,200 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

Over the course of June 8, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 1,200 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized due to shelling. Despite the difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On June 8, the occupiers again shelled the settlements in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region bordering the area of hostilities all day long. The shelling damaged power lines, thus leaving 1,179 homes of residents without electricity.

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly restored the grids once they obtained a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. All damages have been eliminated over the course of the day. Power supply is now fully restored.

Despite a constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible.
