Energy workers of the Kyiv region are doing everything necessary to restore electricity supply after destruction of the critical infrastructure facility by rf

On October 18, rf’s shelling has damaged a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv, causing interruptions in electricity supply to residents of Brovary and Vyshhorod districts of the Kyiv region. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists make every effort to restore power to residents of the Kyiv region once they obtain a permit for work performance.

Today, on October 18, rf’s shelling has damaged a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Kyiv, causing shutdown of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids energy equipment that powers Brovary and Vyshhorod districts of the Kyiv region, thus leaving 2,108 customers without electricity.

Emergency crews are ready to go to the site of damage to conduct inspection and reconnect customers to alternative power sources as soon as they obtain a permit for work performance from the military.

Company’s actions are coordinated with local authorities and rescue services. Distribution System Operator is doing everything necessary to provide electricity to residents of the Kyiv region.

Various scenarios of the enemy damaging key power supply facilities and a response plan have been developed in the region. This will allow all workers of the energy sector to act in harmony in the event of critical situations and restore electricity supply to the majority of affected settlements as soon as possible.
