DTEK Grids energy workers have been honored with state awards

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has awarded honorary certificates to the energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Grids, DTEK Dnipro Grids, DTEK Donetsk Grids and DTEK High-Voltage Grids for their personal contributions to ensuring electricity supply to Ukrainians during the war.

Honorable certificates were awarded to senior foreman Oleh Braharnyk, engineer Volodymyr Burdiian, electrician Serhii Sukhomlyn, lead engineer Viktor Karpus and electrician Vasyl Kaptsov for their personal contributions to restoration of grids after hostilities and to ensuring operability of the energy system in the wartime conditions

“DTEK Grids is a foundation and support for normal life of the country and Ukrainians. Especially now – during the war. We are proud of every energy worker, who risks his life to hold the energy front. It is thanks to such professionals as Oleh Braharnyk, Volodymyr Burdiian, Serhii Sukhomlyn, Viktor Karpus, Vasyl Kaptsov and many more our employees, the country endured despite an influx of enemy missiles and passed winter with light and heating, and we are sure that it will pass the next one, as well,” underscored DTEK Grids.

Over the course of a full-scale invasion of russia, energy workers of the DTEK Distribution System Operators have restored electricity to more than 8 mln Ukrainian families.

Despite the challenges, since the beginning of a full-scale offensive, DTEK energy workers continue to hold the energy front. Every day, they show courage, valor and professionalism. Electricians of DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators became one strong team to promptly restore electricity in the areas, where hostilities were and are ongoing. They do it for the doctors to be able to save lives, for business to work, for Ukrainians to be in touch with their family and friends and to travel throughout the country and abroad.
