DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to 1,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to 1,500 residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region that were shelled the day before. Despite shelling and difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from regular enemy shelling that frequently damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

On June 3, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 1,428 families in the settlements that are close to the line of the temporary occupied territories, from where the enemy conducts shelling. 

200 families remain without electricity. Energy workers will soon restore electricity to their homes as well.
