As the weather is getting worse, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency crews are all set
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, weather conditions are expected to get worse across the region during March 12. Wind gusts up to 20 meters per second, and ice on the roads are expected. Hazard level is one (yellow). Such weather conditions can lead to blackouts and disruption to traffic flows on the roads. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency crews are all set.
“DTEK is a reliable and conscious company that works 24/7 to ensure that all of our customers have electricity. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids workers are now all set and ready to quickly eliminate accidents if any. Currently there are no massive outages, and our workers are eliminating single damages. We are making every effort to return power to our customers’ homes as soon as possible,” says Vitaliy Shaida, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids CEO.
DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids asks the residents of the region to stay at home, if possible, and be careful. Please, do not approach bare wires, broken lines and fallen trees.
Tips for possible outages due to bad weather: information about emergency outages can be checked on the company website in the section “No electricity?”. If your address is there, the power engineers already know about the outage and are busy restoring the power supply. If you did not find your address, please report the outage at your convenience: via the Merezhi Online mobile application (the application is available in the AppStore and Google Play Market), the Viber and Telegram chatbots, or private messages on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids Facebook page.
