Where your electricity readings should go and how to submit them using a chatbot
Energy services for residential customers are provided by two different companies*. Distribution System Operator (DSO), which is DTEK Dnipro Grids for most residents of Dnipro and the region, and a supplier, one-stop service company. DSO is responsible for the quality of electricity and is engaged in recording meter readings every month. Then the company submits updated information to the supplier to generate bills. Therefore, you need to report your meter readings to them to be sure that the consumption volumes are calculated correctly.
It is a good idea to send them on the last day of each month (no later than the 3rd day after the billing month). This will make it possible to form accurate consumption volumes for a calendar month, so that the supplier is able to generate accurate electricity bills. If customers do not submit readings in a timely manner, the calculation is based on the average monthly consumption.
DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer focus and implements European service standards. For the convenience and safety of customers in the pandemic, DTEK Dnipro Grids has introduced convenient online services and remote communication channels to report readings:
- Web form on the site, no registration required. In the section, select your residency area, indicate your customer number, type of your meter, and enter relevant day/night readings;
- Online account. By putting your readings there, you will immediately see your consumption volume. Registration in your personal account is simplified;
- Direct message on the DTEK Dnipro Grids Facebook page;
- IVR to submit readings automatically. Call the numbers +38 (056/066/067) 790-99-00, press 2, and then follow the voice prompts;
- Using chatbots on Telegram and Viber. You can find the chatbot by the name DTEK Dnipro Grids;
