Elimination of bad weather in the Dnipropetrovsk region: DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 28,500 families
Icing of wires, falling of trees and strong wind caused serious emergencies and broken lines. Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts were affected the most.
Energy workers are working in the high alert mode in order to restore electricity to every home. Yesterday, emergency crews managed to restore operation of 102 power lines and 657 transformer substations. Electricity has been restored to homes of 28,500 families in the region.
Over the course of two days, power has been restored to a total of 52,000 homes in 261 settlements of the region, completely or partially de-energized.
As of the morning of January 10, 19,500 homes in 197 settlements remain without electricity.
Recovery efforts are ongoing and will be conducted 24/7 until electricity is restored to all customers.
Reminder: adverse weather conditions may cause falling of trees and broken wires. Please be careful, follow safety rules and do not approach the power lines.
