DTEK energy workers energized almost 53,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 18 settlements that were completely or partially de-energized due to a series of enemy strikes on April 8. Electricity has been restored to homes of almost 53,000 families in four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On April 8, recent russian attacks caused power outages in four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Damage of lines and power facilities left 18 settlements completely or partially without electricity. Most of them – in the south of the region. 

Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply. By the end of the day, energy workers restored electricity to de-energized homes of 52,946 families in the region. 

As of the morning, more than 200 homes remain without electricity. Energy workers are working to energize them as soon as possible. 

The enemy continues to attack the energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission for repairs from SES and AFU.
