Almost 600,000 residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region prefer DTEK Dnipro Grids chatbot and user account

Last year, the energy company continued to improve current customer services and products and launch new ones. Specialists paid special attention to self-service channels – chatbot and website. After all, this is how customers can solve almost any issue without leaving home. Almost 600,000 residents of the region appreciated advantages of DTEK Dnipro Grids online channels.

Since November 2023, chatbot users have an opportunity to file requests related to power outages and track its application status. And almost 10,000 such requests have already been processed automatically in a meter of seconds. Additionally, residents of the region submitted meter readings via chatbot 2.5 times more often than in 2022 – almost 300,000 times overall. Currently, over half a million subscribers are registered in DTEK Dnipro Grids chatbots –their number increased by 66% over the year. 

We continue digital transformation, develop our remote service channels and increase number of online services. For this purpose, in 2023 we have expanded functionality of chatbot and user account. And we do not stop therethis year, we will focus on updating our websites, continue improving chatbot, and launch new online services for legal customers,told DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk. 

One of the household customers’ favorite online services is “Agreement Online”. This service allows signing of the electricity distribution agreement on the company’s website without visiting the office. In 2023, we have received and processed almost 25,000 requests related to electricity distribution agreements.
