DTEK Kyiv Grids paid almost 700 million UAH of taxes in 2023

DTEK Kyiv Grids is a reliable partner of country and society. Despite the war and reduction of distribution volumes over the past two years, the company consistently pays taxes to the state and local budgets. All tax deductions help meet the needs of both Kyiv and the country in financing, especially now. In 2023 alone, the overall amount of taxes, paid by the distribution system operator of the capital, is almost 700 million UAH.

Last year, DTEK Kyiv Grids transferred over 80 million hryvnas to the budget of the capital and paid almost 600 million UAH to the central one. The government uses taxes paid to the local and state budgets to finance restoration of houses, damaged by enemy attacks, reconstruction of heat networks, schools and hospitals, renovation of waste landfill, construction of shelters, water conduits, subway and belt highway, in particular.

670 million UAH of taxes that we paid last year is our contribution to the country’s defense capabilities, support of economy and citizens, who are currently in need of state assistance. Despite the war and constant missile strikes, we are working, providing families with electricity, caring about stability of city power supply and its energy system. Additionally, the company continues to consistently invest in modernization of the infrastructure of the capital. This year alone, within the framework of the regulator-approved investment program, we plan to invest 830 million UAH in the upgrade of Kyivs grids, improving quality and reliability of power supply,” – noted Denys Bondar, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Grids.

As previously reported, since the beginning of the full-scale rf’s invasion, DTEK Kyiv Grids specialists have repaired 40 power facilities of the capital, damaged by enemy attacks. The company has restored operation of more than 135 kilometers of power lines of various voltage classes. Energy workers are doing everything possible to provide Kyivans with electricity.
