DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 60,000 homes over the course of two days

Despite constant shelling of the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 77 settlements over the past two days, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 60,000 residents of the Donetsk region, who constantly suffer from consequences of enemy shelling. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On September 11 and 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to access a number of grids damages, repair it and restore power to 77 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 59,552 families. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of active fighting. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 20 times yesterday.  

Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 933 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
