DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids Mobile Assistant: more than 33,000 customers use the Merezhi Online app

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has created convenient and simple remote services for customers. Last year, the company launched a mobile app named Merezhi Online (Grids Online) for private customers. More than 33,000 customers of the region have already used it. It is simple and easy. Now our customers can report their electricity meter readings using their smartphone or tablet, learn about routine and emergency outages, and inform the company about defects or violations (frauds).

DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer focus. We hear and understand how important it is for our customers to resolve all issues related to the electricity service through online services. Since we launched our app Merezhi Online, it was downloaded by 33,573 customers of the region. More than 14,000 customers systematically use the app. The most popular sections are learning the outage schedule and sending meter readings,” says Vitaliy Shaida, CEO of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids.

To start using the service, new customers need to download the application (it is available in the AppStore and Google Play Market) and register. Then select one of the required sections:

  • Outages. This section provides a list of emergency and routine power outages. Therefore, a customer will be able to quickly find out why the power is off and then it will be back. Here our customers can put several addresses if they need to track information about the outages;
  • Addresses. In this section, a customer is able to inform the company that he has no electricity or request additional services, such as maintenance of the meter or connection. Note: the program redirects from the application to the corresponding page of the company's website;
  • Meters. This section is designed to report your meter readings. If a customer forgot to submit the readings on time, he will receive a reminder. To confirm the information on the use of electricity, it will be required to take a photo of the meter and send a photo along with the readings. The application is designed to account readings of several meters - for cases when you pay for electricity at different addresses;
  • Other. In this section, a customer can inform the company about defects or violations (frauds). To do this, you need to specify the address, attach a photo with a defect or violation and send it. Be sure to check that your profile contains an email address, you will get the answer there. If the email address is not specified, the letter will be sent by post within 30 days;

Registration in the app requires a customer account number of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids (2ххххххх) or the supplier (4ххххххх).

Please, note that the application does not provide the option to receive bills and make payments for consumed electricity. The final bill for consumed electricity is provided by the supplier.

As previously reported, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids launched a chatbot on Viber and Telegram. This is a virtual digital assistant that helps private customers to automatically receive the necessary information. Thanks to this app, residents of Kyiv Region can send meter readings, get answers to frequently asked questions and report emergencies.
