A warehouse with DTEK power equipment was attacked in the Dnipropetrovsk region
They enemy hit regional warehouses of DTEK Dnipro Grids. The attack caused fire and destruction of storage premises, damaged cabling and wiring products, low-voltage transformers, isolators etc. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
“The enemy continues its targeted attacks on the energy enterprises in order to leave Ukrainians without light and heat in winter. The recent russian attack confirmed their lack of principles. Nevertheless, despite damage of the material stock that we prepared for winter, the enemy will not succeed in weakening our readiness to pass the heating season stably. We are now assessing damage and creating a plan to cover the need of destroyed materials. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region,” – informed the company.
DTEK Dnipro Grids continues to prepare the energy system of the region for the upcoming winter, which, according to experts, will be a difficult one. As informed earlier, energy workers of the company have already completed overhaul and reconstruction of 933 kilometers of power lines and 142 power facilities that power towns and villages. They have also cleared more than 2,300 km of the overhead lines from branches and drywood. This will help improve reliability of the grids and reduce probability of outages in winter.
