From September 2 to 8, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 104 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 311,000 families in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. The work of energy workers still remains dangerous – two specialists of the energy company were wounded last week.

Mostly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which increasingly often suffers from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. Last week, our specialists managed to restore electricity to 213,200 families here.

The situation in the Donetsk region still remains extremely difficult due to constant hostilities. Last week, two energy workers were wounded here while performing their duties. Despite constant danger, specialists of the energy company continue to repair the grids once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for repairs. From September 2 to 8, they managed to restore power to homes of 95,800 families.

Odesa region continues to suffer from enemy attacks too. Last week, energy workers restored electricity to 2,400 families here, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“Energy workers continue to hold the energy front for 929 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 14.1 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
