DTEK energy workers restored power to 17,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of a week

Over the course of a week, September 18 through 24, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to more than 17,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without power supply due to shelling. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that, among other things, destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to repair damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.  

Over the past week, DTEK specialists have restored power to 17,155 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized due to hostilities. About 1,300 homes currently remain without electricity due to the damaged grids. Restoration activities shall be conducted once the threat of shelling decreases and energy workers receive permission from the SES and the military.
