On August 2, energy workers of the DTEK Donetsk Grids and DTEK Dnipro Grids managed to completely or partially restore power to 18 settlements in the frontline districts of the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, thus restoring electricity to homes of 27,500 families. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. Enemy shelling, missile, drone and air strikes continue. Our specialists continue to repair the grids once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Over the past week, they managed to restore power to homes of 21,500 families in the region, where active hostilities are ongoing.

Dnipropetrovsk region also constantly suffers from consequences of enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. On August 2, our specialists managed to repair a number of grid damages here and restore electricity to 6,000 families.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
