From August 12 to 18, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 42 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 52,800 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Donetsk region continues to remain the area of the most active hostilities, where enemy artillery shelling, missile, drone and air strikes are constantly ongoing. Our specialists continue to repair the grids once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Last week, they managed to restore power to homes of 40,200 families in the region, where active hostilities are ongoing.

Dnipropetrovsk region also continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. From August 12 to 18, our specialists managed to repair a number of grid damages here and restore electricity to 12,600 families.

“Despite all risks, energy workers continue to hold the energy front for 908 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 13.2 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
