From August 11 to 17, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 168 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 122,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators (DSO) repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Last week, the enemy continued attacking peaceful towns and villages of our country. The attacks constantly caused de-energization of power facilities. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators, in their turn, continued repairing the damaged grids. In particular, from August 11 to 17, they managed to restore electricity to almost 103,300 families in the Donetsk region. Including 27,000 homes during the weekend alone. Despite all the security challenges of the region, where active hostilities are ongoing, energy workers continue to work and restore electricity, wherever possible.

Attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region continued last week too. Over the past seven days, specialists of the energy company restored electricity to 18,700 homes of local residents, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“Energy workers continue to work and hold the energy front for as long as 1,272 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 20.8 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
