On the eve of winter, DTEK upgrades six distribution points in Odesa to ensure reliable power supply to 21,000 customers and critical infrastructure
New power equipment will allow to ensure reliable power supply to homes of Odesans, who currently live in this part of the city, 8 medical institutions, 15 educational establishments (schools and kindergartens), 3 water supply and water drainage facilities, 10 boiler houses.
“DTEK Odesa Grids is a foundation and support for normal life of Ukrainians. Distribution points, fitted with new equipment, will operate in the dispatcher console control mode, without participation of the duty personnel. This will allow to quickly register emergency violations and eliminate its consequences without customers’ disconnection from power supply,” – explained the company.
DTEK Odesa Grids started installing equipment in August and plans to complete all works by the end of the year. In particular, installing 12 sections of power equipment and 16 transformers. Financing is carried out within this year’s investment program of the Distribution System Operator.
