The storm: DTEK Donetsk Grids restores power supply in the Donetsk region

Besides shelling, the storm was the cause of lines and electrical equipment outages in the Donetsk region. The storm has left 18 settlements in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts completely or partially without electricity. Energy workers put maximum effort to restore power as soon as possible.

The situation in the Donetsk region is very difficult due to active hostilities. Therefore, we ask residents to treat power supply issues with understanding, as frequent shelling constantly cause larger and larger damage to the grids. Energy workers commence their work as soon as it becomes possible.

Let us recall that in July only, specialists of DTEK Donetsk Grids have restored power to 548,000 families in 522 settlements of Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region. 342 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to hostilities. Energy workers have to wait for a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
