On October 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore electricity to homes of residents of 4 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 15,000 families. Energy workers are doing everything necessary to provide electricity to residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the military.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to homes of residents of 4 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 15,547 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, the enemy continues active shelling of the entire Donetsk region.

86 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
