On January 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to conduct repairs in 3 settlements, affected by shelling in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to almost 2,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities and winter cold.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 1,659 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on the attempts to capture the Donetsk region within its administrative borders and continues the offensive on the Bakhmut direction.

Constant shelling continues to destroy the energy infrastructure facilities. 97 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
