Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 6,000 families over the course of a day
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 6,078 families in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.
Energy workers managed to restore power to more than 4,000 families on one of the most difficult directions – Bakhmut. They managed to restore electricity to most of them in less than 24 hours. Electricity was also restored to 1,500 families in Marinka community. Yesterday, energy workers were also able to work in Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka and Toretsk communities.
89 settlements remain without electricity due to constant hostilities and lack of access to the grids. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Sloviansk. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
