Thermal power generation08 October 2020
The distribution system operator canceled the electricity supply restrictions to Kryvbaspromvodosnabzhenie, scheduled for October 8, originated due to the failure to fulfill obligations under the electricity distribution agreement in terms of timely payment. The management of the state enterprise paid the liabilities, and provided guarantees for timely settlements under the electricity distribution agreement.

Since August, the State Enterprise Kryvbaspromvodosnabzhenie management has failed to fulfill its obligations to pay for the electricity distribution service, which has resulted in a debt of UAH 2.8 million. Therefore, the distribution system operator was forced to inform about the power supply restrictions to the waterway in compliance with the Electricity Market Law, Distribution Systems Code, and Retail Electricity Market Rules.

Following the negotiations between the enterprises supported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, an agreement was reached on the debt clearance. In the evening of October 7, the State Enterprise Kryvbaspromvodosnabzheni" paid the debt of UAH 2.8 million, and provided guarantees of timely payment under the electricity distribution agreement.

It shall be noted that as of September 2020 the total indebtedness of SE Kryvbaspromvodosnabzhenie to DTEK Dnipro Grids is UAH 161.6 million. The management pays the debt according to the debt-restructuring schedule in a timely manner. However, they consistently violate their obligations to pay for the current power distribution, endorsed by the distribution agreement between enterprises.

We hope that the state enterprise management will further observe the payment discipline.
