Over the course of the week, DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to 119 settlements, de-energized by shelling

From July 21 to 27, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of energy equipment repairs after the shelling that constantly targets Ukrainian towns and villages, thus restoring electricity to more than 145,000 homes in three regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Last week, energy workers continued to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes. The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where the strikes become more and more frequent. From July 21 to 27, power was restored to the homes of 73,300 families here.

The Donetsk region continues to remain an area of the most active hostilities. Despite constant danger, last week electricity was restored to 68,800 homes in the frontline region.

The enemy does not stop attacking the Odesa region too, leaving 3,300 families temporarily without power supply. Energy workers restored electricity as soon as it was possible once the sappers and the military allowed.

“The enemy continues to attack our country. While we continue to work despite danger and attacks for as long as 1,251 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 20.1 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
