Submission of meter readings and schedules of power shutdowns – the most popular online services of the DTEK Grids DSO

Over the past year, the number of subscribers of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators chatbots increased by 60% to more than 5 mln persons. While the number of visits of the DSO websites exceeded the mark of 25 mln, which is over 7 times more than in 2023. Currently, residents of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Donetsk regions and the capital can use these two self-service channels to find answers to almost all questions and order any services online. The most popular services are submission of readings and schedules of power shutdowns

In late May 2024, it became possible to review schedules of stabilization shutdowns in DTEK Grids DSO chatbots. In total, the customers used this feature more than 11.5 mln times over six months. Additionally, submission of readings via the chatbot increased by 32% in comparison to 2023. 

At the same time, the number ofNo Electricitysection views on the DSO websites over the past year reached the record mark of 120 mln. Here, you can find schedules of shutdowns, check current shutdowns at your address, file or check power outage requests. Besides, the following online services are available on DSO websites: 

  • Ordering meter services: sealing, replacement in case of malfunction, etc. 
  • Connecting to the grids and concluding an electricity distribution agreement 
  • Ordering “Day-Night” meter 
  • Submitting readings 

Over the course of the year, household and legal customers of the DTEK Grids DSO took advantage of the opportunity to conclude, amend and terminate distribution agreements remotely more than 150,000 times. 

“The most important for our customers is an opportunity to solve any issues in fast and convenient manner. For that, we posted schedules of shutdowns in the chatbots, added ordering of meter maintenance in the personal user account on the website, launched anAgreement online for legal customers service, improved notification about stabilization and emergency power shutdowns in Kyiv Digital app last year. This year, we will focus on expanding opportunities for business and launching new products,summed up DTEK Grids Customer Relations Director Ruslan Volynets. 

DTEK Grids DSO continues to follow the principles of customer orientation and listen to the customer needs.
