250 new home solar power plants were connected to DTEK Donetsk Grids at year-end 2020

Mariupol is the leader in connecting solar power plants to the grid. In 2020 alone, we connected 46 new home solar PV systems there,” says Oleksii Degtiarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids CEO.
DTEK Donetsk Grids highlights that the demand for connecting small-scale generation to the infrastructure of the regional power grids remains high.
There are the top three renewable energy producers at year-end 2020:
- 46 new home solar power plants in Mariupol, 140 in total;
- 43 new home solar power plants in Mangush, 84 in total;
- 34 new home solar power plants in Nikolskoye, 73 in total;
Each prosumer can cover the needs for clean electricity of around 10 households.
