On May 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and restoration crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 10 settlements that suffered from shelling. Service is restored to almost 2,000 families in the Donetsk region. The company continues restoring electricity to its customers, as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, specialists of the energy company managed to restore electricity to 10 settlements in the Donetsk region, despite active military activities, thus restoring service to homes of 1,933 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts.

Military activities are underway in the region, regularly causing damage of power equipment. 243 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
