DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 8,000 families over the course of a day

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of damages after shelling, thus completely or partially restoring power to 7 settlements in the Donetsk region. Electricity has been restored to almost 8,000 families. Energy workers are doing everything possible to repair the grids in the region once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On April 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 7 settlements of the Donetsk region, de-energized due to constant shelling, thus restoring electricity to 7,754 families in the frontline region. 

Active fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to focus on the offensive in Bakhmut, Lyman, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where over 45 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday alone. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment, caused by shelling, 120 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 414 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
