DTEK energy workers restored electricity to more than 1,800 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region after latest shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to homes of more than 1,800 families in 3 settlements of the region, affected by enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On August 1, Dnipropetrovsk region was again subjected to enemy attacks with UAV and artillery. The shelling damaged grid facilities and de-energized almost two thousand families in the south of the region. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers began repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Over the course of the day, electricity has been restored to 1,867 de-energized homes in 3 settlements. 

26 homes remain without electricity. They will be energized during the day.
