DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 15,000 homes despite shelling

Despite all difficulties, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 17 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region yesterday, thus restoring electricity to homes of 15,043 families. 

Due to active hostilities the situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 774 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
