Restoring electricity: DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to over 5,700 customers

On April 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency crews have partially restored service to 2 settlements in Sloviansk district. Service was restored to over 5,700 customers. Energy workers cooperate with the AFU and continue performing emergency and restoration activities in the region, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

Restoring electricity: DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to over 5,700 customers

On April 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to restore power to 5,790 customers in 2 settlements of the Sloviansk district.

178 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Sloviansk, where grids and substations are being constantly damaged due to hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces in order to perform repair of lines.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 42 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
