DTEK Donetsk Grids performance in April: restored electricity to more than 250,000 families in the Donetsk region

Active military activities were underway in April and were the main cause of lines and electrical equipment damage. Last month, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 329 settlements in the Donetsk region. Service is restored to 261,594 families.

In particular, over the course of past week, specialists of the Energy Company have repaired equipment and restored electricity to 92,166 families in 102 settlement of the Donetsk region.

Active military activities in the region are in full swing. Residents of 233 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged by shelling. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
