Taking care of the customers: DTEK Kyiv Grids will not cut off electricity during routine maintenances on weekends

For the comfort of customers, DTEK Kyiv Grids decided not to do scheduled repairs that require temporary power cuts to customers on weekends. The company has changed the schedule and will do only those work that does not include power cuts. Therefore, Kyiv residents will no longer experience inconveniences related to routine electrical equipment maintenance on weekends.

Scheduled work that involves temporary outage for customers will now be done only on weekdays. On Saturday and Sunday, power outages due to scheduled maintenance will not disturb the comfort of Kyiv residents. DTEK Kyiv Grids approved this customer-oriented approach to work planning.

“DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer focus. We understand that an uninterrupted power supply is extremely important to our customers. Especially on weekends when most citizens are enjoying their time off or doing chores. Therefore, we have rescheduled our work plan so that power grid maintenances on Saturday and Sunday do not bother people in the capital,” says Denis Bondar, General Director at DTEK Kyiv Grids.

The company needs to do scheduled repairs on electrical equipment in Kyiv to ensure its stable operation. As a rule, these include maintenance, repair and replacement of transformers and switches, cables and overhead lines, metering devices and other equipment. These works are a must to keep the lights on in homes and avoid failures. It is impossible to do most of such work without turning off the electrical equipment. The safety of the company's employees and citizens who are near the repair site depends on this.

If you have a power cut, visit the company's website to find out the reasons and the estimated recovery time. You can also use a Viber or Telegram chatbot, our Facebook page or call the call center.

As previously reported, DTEK Kyiv Grids imposed restrictions on scheduled repairs in winter. Thanks to this restriction, our customers now have a more reliable power supply during extremely low air temperatures.
