Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, conducted a number of repairs and restored power to 2 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 1,200 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region.

On January 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews restored electricity to 2 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to homes of 1,254 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy attacked settlements of the Donetsk region 13 times over the course of the day. Including, another missile strike on Myrnohrad. 

Active shelling constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 695 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
