DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 32,000 households over the course of two days

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to 35 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring power to more than 32,000 households. Energy workers are making every effort to restore electricity once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the Donetsk region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

On July 26 and 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 35 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 32,520 households. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, 15 settlements have been shelled from enemy artillery on Avdiivka direction and 10 each on Bakhmut and Marinka directions. Shelling and air assaults continue on other directions as well. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 520 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
