DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to 11 settlements

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 11 settlements, affected by shelling in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 8,000 homes. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Donetsk region continues to suffer from constant enemy attacks that destroy peaceful towns and villages. Emergency and repair crews repair damaged lines and equipment and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.  

In particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 11 settlements in the frontline region yesterday, thus restoring access to electricity for 8,036 homes. 

The situation in the Donetsk region still remains very difficult due to constant enemy attacks and shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the region 50 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,192 days now and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
