DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 12,000 families over the course of two days

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 43 settlements, thus restoring power to 12,112 families in the frontline region. 

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling of the Donetsk region continues, affecting both settlements near the frontline and the relatively distant ones. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 462 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
