A storm warning. DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency recovery crews are on alert

The weather is expected to get worse on April 20-21 in Donetsk Region. According to the Regional Hydrometeorology Center, heavy rain, one or two thunderstorms, southwestern wind of 19-24 meters per second are expected within the region on the afternoon of April 20. On the night of April 21, a southwest wind of 15-20 meters per second is expected. Weather deterioration corresponds to hazard level 1 (yellow), which can entail power outages. DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency crews are working 24/7 to ensure that our customers have a reliable power supply.

DTEK Donetsk Grids reminds of the need to comply with electrical safety rules:

  • Do not stay near power lines in case of strong wind;
  • Do not approach the broken wire closer than 8-12 meters and in no case touch it;
  • If you find wires that have fallen to the ground, broken or sagging wires, open doors and hatches of electrical installations, as well as damaged supports, please report this to the call center of the energy company or send a messages on our Facebook;
