Storm warning: emergency crews of DTEK Dnipro Grids are on alert

A storm warning has been announced in Dnipropetrovsk Region. According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Hydrometeorology, a southwestern cyclone with rain, hail, and wind of up to 15-20 meters per second are expected in the region on April 20. Bad weather can entail blackouts across the region.

Weather deterioration corresponds to hazard level I (yellow). Due to the deteriorating weather and storm warning, DTEK Dnipro Grids' emergency crews will operate 24/7 to ensure that customers have a reliable power supply.

DTEK serves the interests of Ukraine, takes care of its customers and does everything to ensure that their homes always have electricity. The energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids have been put on alert to quickly address accidents if necessary,” says Andrii Tereshchuk, CEO of DTEK Dnipro Grids.

DTEK Dnipro Grids asks residents of the region to stay at home if possible and to be careful. Please, make sure not to approach bare wires, broken lines, open doors, and hatches of electrical installations, as well as damaged poles.

Tips for possible massive power outages due to bad weather: information on emergency shutdowns can be checked on the company's website in the Emergency Shutdowns section. If you see your address there, that means that the power workers already know about the outage and are busy restoring the power supply. If you have not found your address in the list, please inform the call center of DTEK Dnipro Grids on the company's website, by phone (056/066/067) 790 99 00, via Facebook or a chatbot on Viber and Telegram.
