Severe weather again: DTEK Donetsk Grids to restore power supply to 29 settlements

Thunderstorms and squalls of wind caused blackouts and breaks in 14 power lines and 99 transformer substations. Rough weather hit the northern and central parts of the region. Now the company's energy workers are restoring power supply to 13 settlements in the Kramatorsk district and 16 in the Pokrovsky district.

DTEK serves the Ukraine’s interests, takes care of its customers and makes every effort to ensure that their homes always have lights on and comfort. We engaged 90 repair teams and 63 pieces of equipment in emergency recovery work. The company's energy workers are doing their best to restore the power supply to the affected settlements as soon as possible,” says Oleksiy Degtyarev, General Director at DTEK Donetsk Grids.

The company plans to eliminate most emergency outages by the end of the day, should there be no new emergencies. The company will inform about the work progress and the completion of power restoration work.

DTEK's crews have been put to full alert and work 24/7 to restore damaged sections of the lines as soon as possible.
