Electricity is back for 6,000 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids restored service to 7 settlements in Donetsk region
On April 1, DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to partially restore power to 7 settlements in 3 districts (Bakhmut, Marinka and Sloviansk). In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK electricians have restored power to 6,000 families in Donetsk region.
Many of these settlements have been repeatedly left without electricity and our specialists have to frequently work in the same settlements in order to restore service to its houses.
181 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for over a month and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities. The company cooperates with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to safely access damaged power lines.
