Electricity restored to more than 12,000 families: DTEK continues to restore power to the Donetsk region

On the first day of summer, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to repair a number of damages on equipment and lines, caused by shelling, thus restoring power to 22 settlements in the Donetsk region. Electricity was restored to homes of 12,332 families in Kramatorsk, Bakhmut and Pokrovsk districts.

The situation in the region becomes more complicated. 342 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to shelling. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities cause constant damage to equipment and power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
