Restored electricity: DTEK has restored power to almost 6,000 households in the course of a day
During the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have performed repairs and completely or partially restored electricity to 11 settlements in Bakhmut and Pokrovsk districts, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,935 families. The majority – in Bakhmut district, in the difficult area of Toretsk, where energy workers have finally managed to perform the required repairs and restore service to more than 4,000 homes of local residents, left without electricity due to shelling 2 days ago.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult, especially in the north of the region. We ask residents to treat possible power supply issues with understanding, as continuous shelling constantly damages electrical equipment, lines and energy enterprises of the region.
323 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to frequent shelling. The most difficult situation is near Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 115 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines again and again, as soon as it becomes possible.
